What is a DSL? Picture in your mind a bicycle wheel, composed of a central hub and several spokes that branch out from it. All the spokes are intricately tied into the same hub, but they all approach that hub from various angles. This is the idea behind a DSL.

A DSL begins with a central theme. Off of that theme are many related activities that can go in several directions, yet are still tied to that one central concept. Each activity becomes a station the students must visit to glean information to bring back to their small group so they can compile it as their group project.

The DSL will come with everything you need for each station, along with an evaluation rubric for the group project and an individual quiz to assess the knowledge of each student.

At this time, the DSLs are not quite ready for purchase. Expected release date for the first DSL is 12/30/11.
